$512.75 raised for $500.00 goal
Eat Nom Partners with Astoria Boys and Girls Club to Feed Children through Veggie Days Food Pantry
Organized by Elyse Benjamin
Eat Nom is a local meal service in Queens, NY that cares, not just about making delicious, nutritious, ready-to-eat meals but also about supporting our local neighbors in need. We recently opened our business in the beginning of this year and although COVID19 has been tough on our business, we can't let people go hungry.
We are a proud provider of ready-to-eat meals through Veggie Days Food Pantry, located at the Teen Center of the Variety Boys & Girls Club in Astoria.
Queens Together will add $500 to this Fundraiser once we reach our goal!! Please help us raise money to feed our neighbors in need so nobody in Queens goes to bed hungry during these uncertain times.
Please help Eat Nom feed our local families and support them through this crisis. We understand that everyone has been impacted by COVID-19, but any amount helps. We hope that everyone is staying safe and look forward to better days ahead.
What is Queens Together?
Queens Together is a non-profit association of independent restaurants supporting each other in business and feeding communities during crises. Their motto is “One Borough. One Voice.”
During the COVID-19 crisis they are building a bridge that connects local restaurants with food relief efforts in their communities. The dollars raised allow restaurants to make real money, pay their workers, fuel the local economy and most importantly do what restaurants do best: care for others with food. That's because the meals and groceries they fund, prepared by these local chefs, go to neighbors facing food and economic insecurity. The work benefits the full circle of the community: from food businesses to those in need to those who donate. This mission will continue beyond COVID-19 and become a tool for future needs and projects.
